Motorized Surfboard & Skateboard Racing Returns to Downtown Sebring Aug. 19-21

Public Invited to Try Boards for Free on Aug. 18

SEBRING, Fla. (Aug. 15, 2022) - Motorized surfboard and skateboard racing are returning to Downtown Sebring on Aug. 19-21 as the 2022 tour continues with its third stop in Florida and national television coverage on CBS Sports Network.

The Sebring MotoSurf Games will be held at downtown Sebring's Pier Beach on Lake Jackson with conventional fuel powered motorized surfboards, as well as motorized skateboards.

An added feature this year is the open invitation for the public to try the motosurf and motoskate boards for free on Thursday, August 18 from 3-7 pm at the Sebring Civic Center (355 W. Center Avenue; behind the Sebring Public Library). This will be an open course concept where individuals can bring their family and friends to see the course, try out the boards, and learn how each board works. You must be registered online at MOTOSURF GAMES WAIVER to participate in a board trials.

The MotoSurf Games include four stops on the U.S. tour, and the Sebring event will once again be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network thanks to Visit Sebring/Highlands Co. Tourist Development Council (TDC) and the Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) in cooperation with Airstream Ventures and Jetsurf USA – importer of JETSURF world’s best motorized surfboard.

MotoSurf racing was established in the Czech Republic in 2012. Since then, MotoSurf racing has spread all over the world and came to the U.S. as a new format called the Motosurf Games. The concept of the Motosurf Games is the combination of classic racing, Electric Challenge relay-racing with full electric motorized surfboards, JetSurf TUBE Fun Race and America's first MotoSkate race. This combination provides a great weekend full of adrenaline, fun, and new experiences for spectators who love to watch racing.
